Teraterm , securecrt , in linux ???

Hi ,

I work a lot with routers , troubleshooting and debugging mostly ,and in W2K I use teraterm pro ( with ssh ) , but mostly securecrt .
I started to use RedHat 9 recently ( I am new to Linux , but loving it ) , and I am looking for a terminal emulator' to use , in Linux I can use ssh or telnet directly , but I need to log the output of the terminal to a file .
With securecrt , I can easily connect to a COM , use Telnet or SSH , is there any or even several terminal's I can use in Linux ?
Any suggestions will be deeply appreciated :))
I looked at xterm and minicom , but didn't like then .

Thanks in advance
