TCL/TK font problem

I recently upgraded my KDE version from 3.5.5 to 3.5.6 and it seems to have broken something within TCL/TK. It didn't update the TCL/TK package, per se, but something happened to the fonts that it uses to display program windows. I use a TCL/TK based MUD client (Trebuchet TK) and ever since the upgrade, I'm having some massive font issues. I've also downloaded another TCL/TK program and it, too, has the same issue, so I know it's not just the one program.

I've taken a screen shot to show how pixelated and disproportionate the program window's fonts have become. Previously, all was smooth, smaller, and I believe Trebuchet used my current system font, Sans Serif. I've even tried changing my system fonts, as well as the font preferences within the program itself, to see if it makes a difference. It seems as though whatever font it was using before the upgrade is either no longer there (which it is, I've checked) or changed in some way so that TCL/TK is forced to use another, choppy font.

I'm currently running Kubuntu Edgy, KDE 3.5.6, and TCL/TK 8.4. I've also tried reverting back to TCL/TK 8.3, but the problem persists.

Has anyone else had any issues with fonts and TCL/TK programs?

From looking at the screenshot, I'd guess that anti-aliasing has been turned off.

Sorry, but I can't tell you how to turn it back on.
