taking in video


I've got an ASUS V3800 video card that is able to take in video via S-video. I'm running SuSE 8.0.

Is there any software that will allow me to capture the video on my PC? For example, instead of connect the camcorder to the VCR to playback, I connect it to my PC.

mplayer, FFMPEGrec, mp1e, xawtv, vcr, dvr, nuvrec, ffmpeg... quite a few around. have a search
