Unhappy Synch-ing Evolution to Palm Vx under KDE on Redhat 9

Sigh. Switched from Windows to Redhat 9 about a year ago. Wrestled getting Evolution working (moderately well) for a looooong time. A few days ago I bought a Palm Vx. With glee I thot I could get my Evolution appointments synch-ed to the Palm ... ???? Accessing "Pilot Settings ..." the first time took me thru a very simple config wizard after which I pushed the synch button on the Palm Vx & it merrily blipped & beeped its contented synch-ing of my addresses, my date book, etc. Excitedly I accessed the addresses ... nothing. Well, maybe the date book ... nothing. ??? Sigh. ;^(

Anyone have any ideas? VERY MUCH THANKS in advance.
