synaptic manager problem


my synaptic manager is showing this whevr i m trying to go for the installation of any programme.help me


E: Dynamic MMap ran out of room
E: Error occurred while processing language-pack-ja (NewVersion1)
E: Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/10.3.140.50_ubuntu_dists_feisty-updates_main_binary-i386_Packages
E: The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.
E: _cache->open() failed, please report.
