Hey Everyone,
I had synaptic installed and then I upgraded from RH9 to Fedora 2
Synaptic didnt run anymore so I decided to install it again. I compliled it from source and then when I went to run the program it says

Cannot launch entry
Details: Failed to execute child process "gksu" (No such file or directory)

Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Thanks,

yeah, there is a package called gksu which synaptic uses to authenticate you, coz it has to run with root privileges. I am not sure where to get it but check the fedora repositories or google about.

Ive tried to find gksu, I have had no luck with this, does anyone know where to find it?
