Switchboard in the KDE doesn't switch...


I'm trying to get the switchboard in the KDE to work...(like the one in Solaris)...

I click on the panel arrow, I see desktop 1,2,3,4.... Iclick on one, but my desktop doesn't change....?

What am I doing wrong???

You're working by default on #1, try opening a few programs on #1 and switch to #2

I don't know if I follow you here....I have open programs on 1, I try to switch by doing what I explained above.....still the same issue....

So you're working on #1 and you want your desktop to be changed when you click on #1, now I'm confused. You're trying to get the multiple desktop thing to work, right?

I'm in desktop #1 with a whole bunch of windows open....it's getting crowded....

So, I want to open up a new desktop environment (while keeping the first one) by opening #2 up by doing what I explained above....
