Swiftfox rocks

Quote:

Swiftfox is an optimized build of Mozilla Firefox. Originally Swiftfox was only optimized for AMD processors but there are now builds available for Intel as well.
I installed Swiftfox for my AMD64, and it's much faster than the stock Firefox.

If Firefox seems a bit slow for you, try Swiftfox.

No, I am in no way affiliated with Swiftfox, just thought some folks might be interested in this. :)

Reliablity?

Hi mason,

Is it reliable? I asked this because I cant get any ref.
to swiftfox on mozilla.org but I found that on getswiftfox
is it reliable?

For what it is worth, I use Swiftfox for several months with no problem at all.

Thanks,

Hello Mason,

Thanks for your time I have just downloaded it and will give a try.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread,

...but I just installed Swiftfox and am very impressed. All I did was extract the .tar.bz2 file into it's own folder in my home directory, and clicked the swiftfox.sh icon ... and boom ... had all my firefox bookmarks, homepage and everything.

Edit: Talked too fast. 32-bit version is great, but I can't get it to work at all on my 64-bit. Forget that. I'll delete the 32-bit as well.
