Swatch problems....!!!

Hi All,

I'm trying to get swatch up and running and this is where I am at the moment...

I have installed swatch and can run it this way:

------------------------------

[root@XXXXXXXXXX]# swatch
swatch: cannot read /root/.swatchrc
swatch: using default configuration of:

watchfor = /.*/
echo

*** swatch version 3.1 (pid:14917) started at Sun Mar 13 17:17:11 CET 2005
------------------------------

So I thought perhaps my .swatchrc file is not readable, but when I checked it was simply not there. So where am I supposed to get it from? I searched the whole system and found nothing.... So I made a copy of the /etc/swatchrc file and placed as a .swatchrc file under the /root dir and tried to run it....didn't work.

OK so I tried it with the flags that specify the location of the config file:

swatch -c /etc/swatchrc

AND

swatch --config-file /etc/swatchrc

But this didn't work either....

Has anybody gotten swatch to work?...........Help please!

I have no idea what Swatch is but did you try to run it as root?
