Swap Partition (Sharing -- Dual boot)


If I dual boot to two different Linux distros can I share the swap partition without incident?

Very probably yes.

The only problem would be if the 2 kernels were so different in age that the format of the swap partition was different between them. But I've never heard of the format of the swap partition changing.

I would go ahead and try it.
