Cool suse9.0 videolan player won`t run

Hi!

Have installed the vlc player using rpms from Packman. Yast says all is fine with dependencies satisfied. ive used kvlc and vlc to run the programme but nothing happens.

I opened a shell and typed kvlc and this is what I got.

tony@linux:~> kvlc
VLC media player 0.7.1 Bond
Inconsistency detected by ld.so: ../sysdeps/generic/dl-tls.c: 72: _dl_next_tls_m odid: Assertion `result <= _rtld_local._dl_tls_max_dtv_idx' failed!
tony@linux:~>

Anybody have any idea were i have gone wrong, any help appreciated.

Thanx

Tony
