suse personal server

when a user is logged into a suse box they can start a personal server via an applet that allows them to share a folder.

i need to ssh into this box and start the server for said user. does anyone know how i might go about doing this?

ssh into the box you want to forward from.

grep orwarding /etc/ssh/sshd_config

you want it to return yes. if it doesn't then edit it to say yes instead of no.

the get into the box with

ssh -X user@123.456.7.891
enterpassword

gimp &

or

gedit &

and the gui appears on your screen.
