SuSe Live eval - How can I restore the default settings?
When I first tried the SuSe live evaluation cd I had to configure the system with yast etc.
Now when I start my computer with the cd in the cdrom drive I boot in SuSe very quickly without having to reconfigure everything. I think that it creates a file in which the settings are stored, (I have a dual boot system, Windows XP (ntfs) and Mandrake 9.2 (ext3)). Since Linux cannot yet write in ntfs volumes, shouldn't this file be saved somewhere in the root directory of the Mandrake's partition? The question is: Can I restore the default settings in SuSe live evaluation cd by erasing this file? And if it is possible, where can I find it? |
I'd like to know that too...I have windows xp and tried the live disc....It installed, but I can't login...I need to delete the files so I can start from scratch
