Suse+ Adobe Distiller + Create PDF

Can we create PDFs via the Adobe Distill utility in
sles9?
"acroread-7.0.1-2.2" RPM is for reading PDF no?
can we use this also for creating PDF?

acroread is only for reading PDF's. Not creating.

To create a PDF, you can do it using the "print to PDF " in a GUI application (if it is present

for doing it via command line, use a text-to-ps converter (like a2ps) and then use ps2pdf

PS: i dont have SLES
