Suse 9.1 Update Files Location

Hi,

Really hoping somebody can help me, I installed Suse 9.1 and did a complete online update (300 meg?). Now as usual I did something wrong and sound is completely buggered.

So the question is, I did not select the tick box to delete the content after patching so all those patches should still be somewhere?

Where can I get them? I assume if I safe them to another drive and redo my linux installation I should be able to copy them back to that location and just run the online update (Wont download again but use the cache and install)

Thanks for any help

check if you find the directory
/var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.1/rpm/i586
change to it an try something like this:
for f in *.rpm; do rpm -Uhv $f; done
or:
find /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.1/rpm/i586/ -name "*rpm" -exec rpm -Uhv {} \;
Then do:
ldconfig
and:
SuSEconfig
Good luck!
hth,

there are other directories in /var/lib/YaST2/you/mnt/i386/update/9.1
you should check these as well
