Suse 9.1 Personal 716MB on 700MB CD-R? That's impossible ...

I downloaded Suse 9.1 Personal from LQ, and tried to burn it on a CD-R, but all failed. The disc was 700MB max but the file has 716MB data. What to do?

Did it give you some kind of error message when it failed? What software are you using and how did you tell it to burn the image?

You probably tried to burn it as a normal file when you should be burning it as an ISO image. What CDr software are you using?
