suse 8.2 - how do I replace Konqueror with Mozilla
 

Hi

I'm trying to use konqueror but am finding it not as good as Mozilla. I also have all old bookmarks etc in a mozilla profile. Anyway how do I remove konqueror and replace it with mozilla?

The whole thing seems to be so integrated into the KDE that it looks almost as hard as removing IE from Windows 98.

I did see a konqueror-mozilla package but this just seems to put mozilla inside konqueror and I'm unsure if it willl deal with my old mozilla mail which I have backed up etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

quess i am a bit confused, you can use either one. i have read that mozilla 1.3 has spamm blocker that works great, don,t believe we have it on suse 8.2 if you want to remove software, go into the yast control center, and click on add/remove software if you want to remove something

Hmm.

I think konqueror is quite intrinsic to KDE and when I did a search under packages, it isn't shown. I did a search for "konqueror" and it didn't find it.

Isn't konqueror the file manager for KDE and hence could I stop KDE from working properly if I remove it?
