I'am trying to install SuSe 7.2 on Dell Dimension 8100 1,5 Ghz. It doesn't go through the Yast2 or Yast1. In the text mode it generates the following message:

I was trying to install an earlier version (SuSe 6.4) on the same box - it goes fine. Also I vas able to install 7.2 on enother machine (Dell Inspiron 5000).
Who can help me with it? How to skip this BUG in Dimension?

Your best bet is to post the specs for the notebook in this thread. (IDE/ATA controller, video hardware mostly)

Simple as ABC - I've updated BIOS to the niewest (A08) version, and it goes!!!
I found the solution on SuSe web site.
