Survey: fav program for PHP/HTML/CSS coding

Just looking for some feedback on everyones favourite HTML/PHP/CSS editors for linux.

I'm new to linux but am looking to move my web development to the linux environment so I'd like some feedback.

I'm using the Gnome 2.x desktop if that makes a difference.

I'd also like some feedback on fav desktop environment for developing.

Thanks,

xervious

I like either gvim, or nedit. I've looked at more user-friendly programs for my wife, though, and I chose bluefish for her.

vi.. not vim or the x version.. just vi is what I use for most code writing/changes.

Nvu is also moving along. Other than that vi is your friend..

Vi for everything. It has syntax highlighting for just about everything under the sun.
