Super user password in Knoppix 3.9

How is the super user password set in knoppix 3.9?

For the live CD? As far as I know (and what I've always done, off of live CD) is to go to console and type sudo program (sudo kcontrol)

I think by default it is blank (i.e. you can do "su" and then when it asks for the password press Enter).
