suggesstions for lite weight cd/dvd burner app?


I personally like K3B
but it takes alot of kde libs,etc

same with brasero I guess too..

whats a very good, high rated cd/dvd burning apps for linux

that can not only burn isos, etc but also dvd's, backup dvd's
movies, etc??

For most of those needs you could go with xfburn. Xfburn is to Xfce what brasero is to Gnome or k3b is to KDE.

I don't think it does video dvd authoring, but you can always do that with another tool, like DeVeDe.

cdrecord and growisofs for burning and devede for mastering dvd images

You could try burn. It's as light-weight as you can get.

OK thanks guys

I'm asking cause I just finished a bad-ass Debian build using the
Debian-Live Standard NO X iso
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/re...e/i386/iso-cd/

Basically; I have remastered it by hand and added rescue stuff like testdisk, fsarchiver, you know
like 350MB and its packed
Fluxbox modified the only WM

its also got dvdisaster so thats why I need DVD burner too

so, I heard xfburn is good and bad
will try all of them though
