subversion post-commit

Hi there,

I've been reading about email notifications in subversion and it seems that using post-commit in the "hooks" directory is the way to achieve this. Setting this up seems real easy but my question is how do I run this post-commit hook ONLY for a certain branch? If a user commits something in "development" I want to run post-commit. However, if a user commits something in a different tree, do NOT run the post-commit. I've been scouring the internet and can't find any solid examples on this setup. Thanks.
