Subtitles in mplayer
 

Can somebody please tell me if there is any posibility to make the subtitles apper under the movie (on the overlay surface) in mplayer? I really hate them being on top of the movie.

Yes, it's possible.

You've to use the sdl video output driver. You can't use graphical interface with sdl.

Then you can move subtitles by r and t key.
