Question Sub-process /usr/bin/dpkg returned an error code (1)


Hi,
I'm trying to install rootkit [apt-get install rkhunter chkrootkit] but I got these errors:

Code:

rkhunter is already the newest version.

I tried going into /var/lib/dpkg/info and deleting everything that had that rkhunter name as what other solutions were, but to no avail..

Any help will be appreciated.

Question

after apt-get -f install ..what's next? because I tried the apt-get install rkhunter chkrootkit after apt-get -f install but I got the same error...

Post the output of apt-get -f install and also the contents of your /etc/apt/sources.list
