Stuck in Boot Up (Slackware 9.0)

Installation went wonderfully. Followed the How-To to the letter.

It won't boot up, though.

cardmgr[52]: watching 2 sockets
cs: IO port probe 0x0c00-0x0cff: clean.
cs: IO port probe 0x0800-0x08ff:_

That last character (the _ ) represents the blinking cursor. The bootup process stops right here each time. As of this last attempt, the cursor has been there for 40 minutes. I wanted to be sure it wasn't something crazy.

I'm installing this on a Dell Inspiron 8100 laptop (Thought that was valid).

Please help!

Nevermind. I used the "search feature" and found my answer. Please don't hate me, I think I'll be on here a lot more once I get this working.
