Streaming music
 

Hi guys, I'm very curious about how these internet radio work. My friend has an account at shoutcast which he is able to stream his music so user can enjoy his playlists. I was wondering if anyone knows if is possible for us to do this at home with a Linux server. The main concern is bandwidth. If this is not possible does anyone know a reliable company for this task?
