streaming live radio with gnome in mandrake
hi all how can i stream live radio in gnome? i like to listen to a radio station in liverpool were i am from (but now live in Cyprus) but i cannot seem to do it in mandrake 9.1 with gnome desktop.
i am a fairly new linux user and would hate to have to reinstall windows in order to listen to this as i finally made the switch and ditched windows altogether last week. thanks for you help i eagerly await |
how are you trying to do this?? what are you using??xmms?? how did you do with M$ ??
I use Kaffeine I ..I find an internet radio station like livefm.net plugin the url and good to go |
well in MS i use media player and i just click on the link in the webpage and it plays
when i click on the same link in linux using gnome desktop i just says buffering and then just hangs until i use xkill to finish it it opens in xine |
