stratup command


i need to run alsactl restore command ant startup
where do i put the command so it runs each time i turn un my computer?
im using gentoo

on gentoo you can use /etc/conf.d/local.start

running alsasound as a service should do this for you though really, so i'd wonder if that's the best plan of action. have you re-emerged any alsa packages to see if that helps?
