Strange xdm log in screen and can't log in with it?

Well, i have this really strange problem, when my system boots, usually the xdm screen shows up so I can log in, but since yesterday, xdm started and I saw something strange... xdm changed in a visual way :S (log in screen background completely white, differents fonts) The first moment I thought well, i can change that, don't care

But then I wanted to log in, I entered my username, password, pushed enter..... the screen goes black (like usual) but after a second or 2 I didn't reached X, I saw xdm again (again with the strange theme), and I tried another time, but again I ended op in xdm.... strache eah? So I exited X (using Ctrl + Alt + BS) logged in, startx and everything was as normal.... Well that works, but I want to log in via xdm again...

So does anybody know what's going on? Or where the problem could be?

Yeah, I tried..... but then when i get in... all the fonts are smaller....

hmm..... each time i tried to log in... 2 faults where there...
from te log:

Fri Jun 4 20:25:03 2004 xdm info (pid 568): not sourcing /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/xdm/Xsetup (No such file or directory)
Fri Jun 4 20:25:05 2004 xdm error (pid 568): fatal IO error 32 (Broken pipe)
Fri Jun 4 20:25:05 2004 xdm error (pid 471): server crash rate too high: removing display :0

The first line says some file/dir is missing... what should be in it? maybe that's the problem?
