strange redhat 9.0


here is a strange stuation i always used fluxbox for speed i just installe redhat 9.0 thats stupid but gnome works realy fast nealy as fast as fluxbox. any ideas?

Gnome is Redhat's desktop of choice, focusing on the integration and function of it, so they probably worked hard to optimize it's performance. Just an idea.
