Strange pointer after switching X <-> tty

Hello Everybody,

every time i switch from X to another virtual console (tty 1..7) and back, my mouse pointer looks like a big white box, compared to the size of any other pointer: A BIG WHITE BOX, really. Restarting the X-Server would solve this, but this seems to me like bying a new car when the old one is dirty. So any help is appreciated... I read about that 'SWCursor' Option, what does that mean, in fact? Ah yes, I'm running Debian(Woody, mostly) XFree86-4, kdm and KDE.

What sort of graphic card do you have?

Ok, try Option "HWCursor" "off", by default the mga driver has it set to "on".

Yes, it works!
I just mixed up HW/SW-Cursor, but now it's ok.
