I recently had to switch ISP service cable to hispeed DSL. (bummer)
the hispeed DSL works fine in XP but in linux I ran into the following.
Netscape is VERY VERY slow but when I set Konqueror to look like IE 6.0
I am seeing a faster response
could be an ISP issue... but i doubt it. This really is weird. Why don't you try opera and mozilla, maby they will work fast? Maby it's Netscape itself that is slow. All these are just my thoughts of what could be wrong.. you could get lucky
