Post storage of temporary variables in linux while executing c program.


f i am running a C program using gcc compiler in linux, then where does the temporary variables are being stored. and how can we access them?

I can barely guess what your question means.

Maybe your question implies enough incorrect assumptions that it doesn't mean anything.

But the answer to my guess at what it means is:

Ordinary temporary variables are stored in registers and in the stack frame. Those (and other kinds of temporary variables) can be examined and modified during the execution of a program using a debugger, such as gdb.
