Still trying to get gDesklets loaded

I think I've loaded everything I need to load gDesklets loaded but when I run ./configure I get:

configure: error: Library requirements (gnome-python-2.0>=1.99.17 pygtk-2.0 >= . . . . ..

I loaded gnome-python-2.0 and everything appeard to go fine. I have also tried:

./configure --prefix=/usr/local/ PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/local/lib/pkgconfig

and go the same error.

Any ideas?
