Stellar Phoneix File Recovered?

Hello Linux Guru's. I have come back once again for some more advice. My jobs linux server just had some very important directories deleted in the /home directory. We were running a Red Hat 9.0 Server. I have tried extensively to recover the lost home directories and files within them using debugfs and mc with no luck. After the files were discovered deleted I immediately shutdown the system with Shutdown -h now to prevent further files from writing to it. I then slaved the drive in a Windows XP box and have installed Phoneix Stellear Linux software to try to recover the files. Long story short after scanning the entire drive the software shows me a deleted items directory with a bunch of inodes in it. The thing is I do not know what to do with these Inodes (ex: lnode #34066). I have recovered all the indoes to a sepearate drive but what do I do from here? Can I just copy them back to the Linux system? Plese help I have been struggling and googling and downloading all types of software for the last 4 days trying to recover the data.

Thanks

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Say no to Stellar Phoenix - search the board for my other posts about them. They're software is garbage and the people at Stellar are lower than garbage. They advertise they work with NTFS 5.1 but they do not support compression (I'm sorry, if you don't support compression, you do not support NTFS 5.1). I'd imagine their EXT and Reiser support are equally as good as their NTFS support.

Check out R-Tools at http://www.r-tt.com/ - their software WORKS and the people there are awesome.

I am not affiliated with r-tt in any way, they just saved us weeks' worth of work when an MFT file went south on a development machine (that developer hadn't checked code in for weeks - he doesn't do that any more). Stellar f'd us over and it took months and months to get our $95 back (the chargeback took forever).

Thank You

Hi! Thanks for the reply, I'll try the RTT tools, P.S I didn't pay for the Stellar Phoenix software.
