Unhappy Starting Ubuntu

I downloaded iso file and the infrared recorder and had no problem burning cd.. When I put in my windows me and restart clicking on install the process goes on forever and ever. What am i doing wrong?

You need to boot the computer with the CD, not run it from within Windows.
