start Kopete automatically...and without kwallet


I have installed Kopete on my ubuntu box

is it possible to re-configure it so as it a) not use kwallet and b) start on login?

I've not seen a way to do it without destroying you current settings. You would have to delete ~/.kde/share/config/kopeterc and ~/.kde/share/apps/kopete so that Kopete is configured from scratch. When the KDE wallet thing shows up, just close it without setting it up. If you want Kopete to start at boot app, you have to do Kcontrol -> KDE Components -> Session Manager -> On Login -> Restore previous session and make sure you don't shutdown kopete before exiting KDE.
