Hi!

Today I updated to kubuntu raring. Now when I play Starcraft (I), must of the screen is not refreshed, only about 30% of the screen at the bottom is actually updated. If I try alt-tab and go back to starcraft then I get a refresh of the screen but I keep seen most of the splash screen if I don't try this trick.

I tried adding the ppa for wine (which updated to 1.5.x) but the problems prevails.

I tried running sc inside a window and it works perfectly but then interaction becomes a mess so fullscreen sounds like the only real playable choice.

What sould I try? Thanks in advance.

Forgot to say that after alt-tab I get a refresh bot the screen is not refreshed anymore.... so in order to see what the menus where like to be able to get out, I had to do alt-tab a number of time to get the refresh for each menu screen

Have a look at the Starcraft AppDB entry if this problem is already mentioned there. What you can also try is running "winecfg" from console and selecting "Emulate a virtual dekstop" from the "graphics"-tab.
