star backup tape command
can anyone help me with a command for star to back up to tape and exclude a dir i.e. /proc
here is one of many that i tried
# star -cv -V pattern=proc/\* -f /dev/st0 /
i have read extensively and no go!
this does work in tar but i want to use star
# tar czvpf /dev/st0 / --exclude=proc/
any help would be appreciated.
