ssh: symbol lookup error: ssh: undefined symbol: EVP_cast5_cbc


Hi,

I'm facing issue when we tried to ssh through localhost server or remote server through user its giving error : "ssh: symbol lookup error: ssh: undefined symbol: EVP_cast5_cbc"

while I tried to ssh through root user its working file.
can you please suggest. I'm using SUSE 10 SP4.

Did you update anything recently? What did SuSE support say, since you're using SuSE Professional?? You're paying for support and updates....this was covered in the SLES forums and a bug was listed (and a fix released), related to SSL. You don't say what happened/changed/got updated to cause this not to work, or even if this EVER worked, so we can't guess. You don't say what kind of client, either.

Also...logging in as root is a VERY BAD IDEA.

Thank you, but when we create user with command useradd -m username its working fine.
