ssh graphical to install oracle


I am new to Linux and need ssh graphical that will alow me to install oracle on the new linux server. any suggestion?

depends on what type of machine you are talking about for the machine youll be connecting from
for linux to linux you just ssh -X to forward the X display to your machine and run the install program using the command line
for windows > linux you need xming+putty

Yes, read the Oracle installation instructions, where they tell you all this.

Also, you don't provide any details...version/distro of Linux? Installing from a workstation or at the console? If workstation, what OS does it have? Where are you SSH'ing from (behind a firewall?)? Does the workstation have an X server on it now, and is it in listening mode?

Since you're brand new to this, contact Oracle support, since you're paying for it. They can walk you through the entire setup process.

"ssh graphical to install oracle

The Linux5 is on Vm and my workstation is windows xp. I was able to run the installer after I edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config and "Enable X11 Forwarding". I still have other issues with Java
