Squirrelmail, mailfetch, and message limit?

Hey all,

I'm running Squirrelmail 1.4.2 on Fedora 1 and everything seems to be working fine for the most part. The problem I'm hitting is when I (or anyone else on the system) tries to use the mail_fetch plugin to pull mail off of our old mail server via POP3 they are only able to get the first 100 messages. Some inboxes have 300 or more messages, but for some reason Squirrelmail and mailfetch and only pulling the first 100, and it will continue to pull the same 100 messages again and again when the account is checked after that. Can't ever seem to get beyond that 100 message wall though. So, I'm wondering if this is something with the mailfetch plugin that comes with Squirrelmail that's causing this, or if it's something on the old mail server. I didn't set up the old server, and it's running Novell, so there may be a setting on that as well.

Any suggestions or advice on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Bump...

Still haven't been able to figure out why we're only getting the first 100 messages when using the mailfetch plugin with Squirrelmail and Postfix. Any ideas?

not a solution but a workaround maybe?

Pull the first 100 messages, then delete that 100 and let it pull the next 100 and so on...

I've thought about this too, and it would probably work, but as we're still testing the new mail server I don't want to start deleting mail off of the old server until everyone has all of their mail on the new system (if possible). There has to be a setting somewhere that's telling this to only look at the first 100 messages.. I just can't find it, and it seems that nobody else has ever asked about it before either. I don't know if it's a plugin (mailfetch) problem or a postfix setting somewhere...
