Squid Proxy Server Leaking Private IP Addresses

Hi Everyone,

I have a squid e proxy server configured in the network here. I went to "what is my ip address dot com" and noticed that my private IP address has leaked to this website.

Is there a fix in squid so the private IP addresses are not leaked to the internet.

here is the output.

Proxy Server IP address: <our public ip address>

Proxy Reports IP as: <private IP>

normally this is only possible if you are added x-forwarded-for headers in your squid.conf, which are deliberately designed to enable things like this.
