Squid problem - mangled URL

Squid is chopping of the "" portion of the URL.

If I look in the dansguardian access.log, the complete URL is recorded.
If I look in the squid access.log, the above part is missing.
I get an error on the browser - invalid URL

Any suggestion?

How about helping others w/ the same problem & posting your solution, or at least a link to the "example of a squid configuration that worked".
