Exclamation Splash Screens


Can you costomize the splash screen in KDE- in Gnome(If it has one)

yup. www.kde-look.org
just download splash file and place it under directory that they put it in
(in slack, it doesn't work but for other distro it 'll be that simple)
it helps other people to help u if u indicate your distro on your profile

But can I create my own images to do that?Or in Gnome

Yes u can customize or even make ur own bootsplash screens in linux if ur distro supports it. Just use any grpahic editor like GIMP or something like that make ur graphic and use it as ur own bootsplash.

I always make my own.

I think you're looking for KSplashman

http://sourceforge.net/projects/ksplashman/

I don't know if this will work in KDE 3.1.
