Spellchecking under linux, a fragmented segment?
Hi, I'm trying to understand how spellchecking works under linux. Basically I've understood that there are many different backends (aspell, ispell, hunspell, myspell), that for all intents and purposes are wrapped around by enchant (which is used by applications).
What I'd like to understand are the differences between these spell checking implementations. (I'm not asking for the best one, just to know the differences). This is mostly fueled by a feeling of duplicate work by the respective dictionary maintainers.
