Specific Icons

I saw the folder with the Specific Icons, Like AIM Icon, Mozilla Icon, etc. I have a Mozilla Icon on my desktop, but how do I get the specific icon onto the desktop. They're in XPM format, and if I just try to copy/paste the icon onto the desktop, I get the little icon of a camera.

how do I get those icons onto the desktop so I don't have the little gears for the link to the application.

Oh yeah, KDE desktop on Suse 9

Right-click the application link, and choose Properties. On one of the tabs, I forget and ain't running Linux at the moment, there is the icon. Click that, and it will bring up a dialog to change the icon to whatever you want.
