spamassassin not installing all the way

i have rh9 and i have been trying to install spamassassin (2.63)

I ran the mpst current rpm files, but the spamassassin-spamc.rc file does not show up in the directory.

i have looked around i have found out that you need spamassassin-spamc.rc file which is going to be in /mai/spamassassin dir. I do not have that file. I have only one file and it is the default conf. file

so either i am not having the proper install, even thought the binaries can be turned on/off...or there is a different way of making procmailrc

please help

thanks

thanks for your post...it turns out there is a bug...not sure whose, perl more like it, but on redhat systems you must set LANG=C before you run MCPAN...otherwise the install ends up incomplete and nothing fully compiles

thanks
