Spam and sendmail

Hi,

Someone is sending spam through our server. To one of our domain eg rgwrwgr@ourdomain.com

As these addresses dont exist they just sit there and build up at approx 400 per min, it kills our server after a while.

Any ideas what i can do to rectify this?

Sendmail version 8.11.6 (a bit old but would rather not upgrade as ive not really used sendmail before)

Setup spamassassin and for time time being you can reroute all those messages to that email address that doesn't exist to /dev/null or something along those lines. Or block the spammer at a firewall level, etc.
