Soundcard configuration 7.3
 

I am able to play and listen to mp3's when I log in as root however I am unable to do so as a user. Also when I log in I recieve the following messages.

modprobe: Can't locate module snd-card-1

modprobe: Can't locate module snd-card-2
modprobe: Can't locate module snd-card-3
modprobe: Can't locate module snd-card-3
kernel: au88xx Could not find device for minor = 244

Can someone explain why I'm getting this message?
